I believe that a college education is important and a good thing. There are many reasons people go to school, and there are some reasons why others may feel like so isn't so much important or needed. I believe one of the main reasons school is good is because it'll help you in the future, job wise. Most jobs now a days require you to have some type of schooling or certificates. Also, your pay will most likely be better. You'll actually have a set career, which is also a guaranteed legit job.

Another reason people might go to school is because they believe that they can better themselves and actually learn more about things that may interest them. Maybe, taking classes can help them in their real life and pass things they learn onto others around them. Another reason people might spend thousands and thousands of dollars and years on school is because they might just actually enjoy learning more, which most times that's not the case. I feel like all the time and money you put out for school will help you in the long run. Nobody wants to be working at a fast food or retail store for their whole life, so getting a good education can help you avoid situations like that.

Some people might have a doubt or believe that education isn't all that important because there are good paying jobs that don't require school. For instance, back when my parents started working as paralegals, they didn't need any schooling. Later on some classes and training were required but its not like how it is now when you need an associates degree or higher.
