He was a strange man, devilish in appearance, hauntingly devilish, who would visit me in my dreams. He was a bad man, I knew, because he was red. Red with black holes for eyes. I suppose he tried to enter my soul.

Sometimes the red man would suggest that I kill my girlfriend. In detail he would explain that I should wait for her to leave work, as this would be late at night, and drive a knife into her neck. I should put her in the car and dump her into the river. And this is odd, because I don't have a girlfriend. Other times he would demand that I steal the kittens out of my grandmother's closet, as though my grandma would have kittens in her closet. No, the dreams, nor anything he ever said, really ever made sense.

He must have been babbling just to keep me busy while he whittled away at my logic, at my sensibilities. I know that whenever I would wake up from these dreams, I would have lost the memory of whole segments of my real life. Some of my childhood, for example, would be missing from my mind; large pieces of growing up, usually times that were fun. I couldn't remember any of these. Probably he kept them for himself.

I've been getting sick these last few months. I think I might die soon. And, no doubt, it is because of the strange red man casually striding around inside me.

She wakes in the morning, she makes her bed, slowly making her way to the shower where she is awakened by the gentle mist of water soothing her smooth sleeping flesh. As her naked body stands savoring its gentle sensuality, it begins to overtake her entire body . . . trickling down her face over her swelling nipples, caressing her soft mound and settling in the dark crevices of her tender folds. She turns slowly as the warm water glistens, exposing the welts across her round cheeks . . . reminding her of the night before when she was taken to the razors edge of her very existence at the skillful hands of her beloved Master.

As a child she had pondered curiously. As a young girl she had discovered desire. And now as a sensual woman she has traveled to the land of eros . . . where the dark becomes light, pain produces pleasure, and where the only true victory can emerge through total and unconditional surrender of her mind, body, and soul. Her identity has escaped her. Her ego stripped away she lives through her masters pleasure now. She could have it no other way .

These thoughts must seem so strange to those poor vanilla souls who could never explore beyond the norm; whose thoughts could never penetrate the boundaries of convention; who will never solve the mystery of their own deep dark desires; and who will only touch the surface of their most intimate needs, yet never fulfilling them. They hunger to no avail for understanding. It is beyond them. Their only relief is to condemn those who have the courage to trespass into forbidden places, exploring, embracing, and accepting as a lifestyle the most forbidden fruit of them all . . . with gratitude and contentment . . .

Tradition has it that man or woman, before engaging in any
great or important undertaking should always invoke the
blessing of deity.

In keeping with that tradition I invite you all to join
with me in asking for a blessing for Taylor and Dave as they
begin their journey into the future as husband, wife, mother,
and father.

Dear Heavenly Father we ask for your guidance to shine down on
this union and light the way for Taylor and Dave; that they
may walk in your light and someday come to know the beauty of
your holiness. We ask, Lord, that the strength of their love
and your guidance will see them through the stormy seas of
Life. Let them always have peace and love in their hearts and
let all the work thus begun in your name continue to thy glory
and ever more establish our obedience to thy divine precepts.
We ask this in thy most holy and precious name. Amen.

Or . . .

Dear Heavenly Father we give thanks to you for the many
blessings we receive; more especially for this day as Dave and
Taylor make their vows to each other. They have shared their
hopes and dreams with us and we pray that you bless this
marriage with your love. Be with them, Lord, as they begin
their journey into the future as a family. And as memory
fades with time, let them be mindful of the sacred vows they
shared here today and renew them by your divine wisdom. Let
them be enlightened by your strength. Let them be enabled by
the beauty of your holiness. Let them know love in its purest
form. May your face shine down on this family, that they may
walk in your light. Here. Now. And forever.
We ask this in thy most holy and precious name.
Amen.
