PROBLEMS RECORDING or PLAYING AUDIO

1) Recorder and playback bars are missing.

Solution:

a) You need to install a Flash Player on your computer. Or you need to upgrade your current version of Flash Player.
*Hint: If you are able to watch You-Tube videos, you probably already have a Flash Player on your computer.

b) Get it from Adobe

2) FLASH doesn't work in Google Chrome (seems frozen).

Solution:

a) If you are using Google Chrome and you cannot click on the "allow" buttons in the recorder Flash pop-up, or the audio playback is glitchy -- go to the Chrome address bar and type "about:plugins" (no quotes). This will display a list of all the plug-ins on your computer. In the list, next to your FLASH player (usually Adobe Flash Player) you will see a "(2 files)", which means that you have two FLASH programs installed and they are conflicting with one another. You must disable or delete one in particular. To see which one . . .

b) Click on the Details link in the upper right corner. This will expand information about your plug-ins.

c) In this list you will see one FLASH player with a path that starts with C:users or C:program files. The other FLASH version will have a path that starts with C:Windows. Keep the latter one, disable the former.

d) Look in the list and disable any other media player plugin that might be conflicting with your current Flash Player.

This should solve your problem.

Change Your Password:

1) In the left panel, click "My writerQ". This drops down a list of new options.
2) Then click on "My Account", which is all the way at the bottom of this list.
3) Under My Account you will see a button near the center of the page "Change Password".
